
ABout Mornography
Mor Erlich, also known as Mornography, is a character animator and 'moving collage' artist. Mor has created short animations for integrated use in theater productions and music videos, as well as animated back drops for a variety of concerts and plays.
Performers that Mor has collaborated with include - Michelle Matlock, Inner Princess, Adrienne Cooper and Marilyn Lerner, Jenny Romaine, Frank London with Tine Kindermann, Yula Be'eri Nanuchka and Sifu Amayo.
Mornography's short film "Bimboim's Trip to the Western Wall" has screened internationally and several of Mornography's short animations have been included in group shows in New York, Miami and Pittsburgh.
When not digitally compositing, Mor tattoos grapefruits and animal hides, which have been presented in several art shows in and around NYC. An Israeli national, Mor works and plays in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
Mornography's animation, utilizes found and retouched web images, original video footage, photography, illustration and puppets to create a moving collage. The result is an empathetic portrayal of challenging social realities and political undercurrents.
